Cookie Policy

MYILMEX uses only what it needs to work: to keep you signed in, keep the site secure and remember your settings. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics or tracking tools, and nothing that follows you to other websites. That’s why you’re shown a short notice rather than being asked to accept or reject anything: there’s nothing optional to switch off.

A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser and reads back later. Browser storage (“local storage” and “session storage”) does a similar job but stays on your device unless a page sends it somewhere. UK law treats them the same way, so all of it is listed here.

• sb-…-auth-token — keeps you signed in. It only appears once you log in, and may be split across several numbered cookies. Lasts: up to 400 days, or until you sign out.
• sb-…-auth-token-code-verifier — a one-time security value used while you sign in with Google. Lasts: until sign-in finishes.
• ilmex_site_access — while the product is in private development, remembers that you entered the access password. Most visitors never get this. Lasts: 30 days.

The sign-in, sign-up and password-reset pages, the data request form, and the waitlist form once you start using it, run Cloudflare Turnstile to stop automated abuse. It loads from Cloudflare and may store what it strictly needs to complete the check, under Cloudflare’s own name. It isn’t used to track you around the web or for advertising. If you only read our pages, it doesn’t load at all. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum.

None of these are sent to anyone as cookies. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them.

• ilmex-cookie-notice-seen — remembers you dismissed the cookie notice. Lasts: until you clear it.
• ilmex-user-strategy — a copy of your display settings (strategy, currency, experience level, halal mode and standard) so pages show correctly as they load. Lasts: until you clear it.
• ilmex-research-recently-viewed — the last few stocks you viewed on the Research page. Lasts: until you clear it.
• ilmex-screener-mode — which screener layout you prefer. Lasts: until you clear it.
• ilmex-onboarding-retake-draft — your answers if you retake the setup questions, so a reload doesn't lose them. Lasts: 7 days, or until you finish.
• ilmex-tour-pending — guided-tour progress still waiting to reach our servers. Lasts: until it's saved.
• ilmex-tour-run, ilmex-tour-invited — where you are in a guided tour, and which tours this visit has suggested. Lasts: until you close the tab.
• ilmex-screen-lock, ilmex-screen-lock-open — only if you turn on the screen lock in the installed app: which lock this device uses, and that it's unlocked for now. Lasts: until you turn it off; the unlock lasts until you close the tab.

If you install MYILMEX to a home screen, it keeps the site’s own images, fonts and code so it can tell you it’s offline instead of showing a blank screen. It holds no figures and no pages from your account: only files that are the same for every visitor. Uninstalling removes it.

Your browser’s settings let you block or delete cookies and clear stored data at any time. If you block them, you won’t be able to stay signed in, and the sign-in check may not complete, but you can still read our public pages.
