About
ʿIlm means knowledge.
MYILMEX takes its name from the Arabic word for knowledge — ʿilm — joined to EX, for index, with MY in front: your own index of knowledge. The name is the mission: investing decisions built on understanding, not on noise, hype or borrowed conviction.
The platform brings filings, ratios, valuation frameworks and screening together in one place. Frameworks inspired by Warren Buffett's quality checks and Peter Lynch's growth rules are built in, with every threshold explained.
MYILMEX is built by a founder who works in audit — checking other people's numbers for a living. That is where the habits come from: show the working, check each figure against its source, and say plainly when something can't be checked.
01Show where each figure comes from
For US-listed companies, headline figures are checked against the company's own SEC filing. Where sources disagree, we show both and say which we're using. Where data is missing, you see a dash rather than an invention.
02You choose the lens
A dividend investor and a growth investor look for different things. You choose which framework to explore, and MYILMEX leads with the measures that framework cares about — research to understand, never advice on what to do.
03Education before transaction
Scores come with the reasoning behind them. The goal is investors who understand more this year than last, not more clicks.
04For everyone
General investors get deep research with the working shown. Muslim investors also get halal screening and the education to understand it.
What MYILMEX is not
MYILMEX is not a broker or an adviser, and it isn't built to tell you what to buy. It provides information and education so the decision — and the conviction behind it — is genuinely yours. Halal screening results are automated analysis, not a fatwa or religious ruling.
